DELIVERY POLICY
Steel King offers nationwide delivery throughout South Africa as well as to our customers in neighbouring states.
Where the minimum order value is not met, delivery charges are calculated based on the delivery destination, package dimensions, actual or volumetric weight, and any special handling requirements. Delivery costs will be displayed on your invoice where applicable.
Steel King reserves the right to use third-party delivery providers and delivery partners of its choosing to fulfil customer orders. The delivery partner selected may vary depending on the delivery location, product type, package size, weight and service requirements.
Certain products, including but not limited to chafing fuel, may require a custom delivery quotation due to their composition, size, weight or delivery location.
Estimated delivery timeframes are provided as a guideline only and may vary depending on product availability, delivery location, public holidays, weather conditions and courier schedules. Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery information provided is accurate and complete. Steel King shall not be held responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
Where delivery cannot be completed due to customer unavailability, refusal of delivery, inaccessible premises or incorrect delivery details, additional delivery charges may apply for re-delivery attempts.
Risk in and to the goods shall pass to the customer upon delivery. Customers are encouraged to inspect goods upon receipt and notify Steel King of any shortages, damages or discrepancies within 48 hours of delivery. It is acknowledged by the customer upon receipt and signature of the delivery note/invoice, that the goods received and shall are deemed to be correct and in good order.
Ownership in and to the goods delivered by Steel King to the customer shall remain with Steel King and shall not pass to the customer until payment of the full purchase price for those goods has been made.
To the extent permissible in law, Steel King shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for:
1. any defects, shortages in delivery or
failure of the goods to comply with the
customer’s specifications unless written
notice is received by Steel King within 24
(twenty-four) hours of delivery; and/or
2. any harm or damage caused as a result
of improper use and/or care of any
products marketed by Steel King;
3. any claims by a customer in
consequence of any delays in delivery;
and/or
4. any loss of profits, loss of business
opportunities, loss of revenue or any
indirect, special, exemplary or
consequential losses or damages
suffered by the Customer, from
whatsoever cause and howsoever
arising.
Steel King reserves the right to package, consolidate, split or dispatch orders in the manner deemed most suitable for safe and efficient delivery.
Steel King reserves the right to amend delivery charges, delivery methods and delivery policies without prior notice where required by operational or commercial circumstances.
